
Carey O’Toole earned her master’s degree from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado and pursued post-graduate coursework at Immaculata. Originally licensed in Colorado in 2005, Carey is currently a licensed professional counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. She has worked in school, residential and outpatient settings. She provides individual, couple and family therapy with children, adolescents and adults. Her areas of specialty are couple counseling and anxiety in its many forms including general and social anxiety, panic, phobias and OCD. Carey is a Level 3 Gottman trained couple clinician. Her other areas of focus include mood disorders, parenting, self-esteem and grief. She offers daytime and evening appointments.
When she is not in the office, Carey enjoys being with her family, cooking, reading, exercising and spending time at the beach. She has three children, two of whom play hockey and therefore, spends extensive time traveling to ice rinks anywhere along the east coast, into New England and up into Canada. Of course, that includes the Wells Fargo Center. Go Flyers!
