
Amanda Ball graduated from James Madison University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Mennonite University. Amanda has experience in community mental health and is committed to creating a safe, collaborative, and trauma-informed environment where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered. Her approach is grounded in humanistic, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices, with an emphasis on the connection between mind and body. She often integrates expressive arts and creative interventions to help clients explore their experiences, build insight, and foster holistic healing. Amanda works with children, adolescents and adults in both individual and family settings. She has a particular interest in supporting clients navigating grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, body image concerns, and life transitions. Amanda is currently taking new clients.
Outside of the counseling room, Amanda enjoys reading, staying active, spending time outdoors, creating art, listening to music, and cooking or baking. She values quality time with family, friends, and her church community.
