Allison Hopper began her career in healthcare in 1993 as a physician in general practice. Her decision to transition to practicing psychotherapy came after years of observing the toll that emotional distress takes on the body.
Allison earned a post-masters certificate in marriage and family therapy at the Council For Relationships in Philadelphia and has been seeing clients at SR&A since 2011. She works with adult clients in couple therapy and individual therapy to manage anxiety, depression and the challenges of managing chronic illnesses. She has recently begun training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia. She offers daytime and evening appointments.
In her spare time, Allison enjoys gardening and playing pickleball with her husband.
