Heather Wyatte earned a double major in psychology and women’s studies for her bachelor’s degree from West Chester University before obtaining a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from Capella University. Heather is a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of Pennsylvania and has offered counseling in crisis, residential, outpatient and community mental health settings. She has extensive experience with children and earned her Child Development Associate while working in early childhood education. Heather offers individual, couple, and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. She incorporates mindfulness and a focus on overall wellness, to improve an individual’s ability to be present in interactions with others. Heather is passionate about helping couples and families cope with conflict, trauma, addiction, transitions, parenting and anxiety. She also works with individuals with LGBTQ+ identity and their families. Heather has training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for children and also offers play therapy. Her strength-based approach incorporates techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy. She offers daytime and evening appointments.

Outside of work, Heather and her husband often spend time with their beloved nieces and nephew. Heather also enjoys reading, walking, yoga, travel, meals with friends and sisters, playing piano, and caring for her pets. She is an avid Phillies and Eagles fan and loves playing fantasy football in her family’s league.
